Apart from the registration fee, which the claimant has to pay at the beginning of the arbitral procedure, the Arbitral Tribunal for the Swiss Real Estate Industry charges arbitrators’ fees.
The fee’s amount is related to the concrete amount in dispute. For lower amounts in dispute up
to CHF 100,000 a one-member arbitral tribunal is recommended for reasons of economy.
The scales attached to the Rules of Arbitration for the Swiss Real Estate Industry serve as a basis for computing the arbitrators’ fees.
